Division 36 West Lieutenant Governor Aaron Gomez
What's Up Huskeys?
I am Aaron Gomez, your Lt. Governor for the 2013-2014 Key Club term! I hope you are enjoying the website and this Key Club Year so far! I have many plans in order to have us thrive as a division, and as an ohana. To be honest, I joined Key Club four years ago because I loved the positivity every member had, and the drive to make our local communities a better place.. And I stuck to it because I felt like Key Club was another family that didn't care about how someone looked or talked.. we care about helping others, and making others feel welcomed.
I think that since I will be working closely with you all year, I would like you to know about who I am. I am an AP student, actor, singer, black belt, fashion lover, debater, and athlete! I take AP Econ/Gov & AP Lit, I have done acting/singing ever since I was 5 years old, I practice Karate, Tae Kwon Do, and weapon mastery (dual swords, pike and spear), I love fashion and have helped create a F.I.D.M. fashion club at my school, I love to debate and participate in Mock Trial, I play soccer and I am the Varsity Tennis Captain for my school. My birthday is December 26th and yes, I get double the presents! I am 17 and I drive. I love sushi, shopping, and musicals. Also, I love to travel. I plan on traveling to Rome, Japan, and the Caribbean Islands. For College, I want to attend Northwestern University in Illinois and study Neurology and Business Management. I love making friends, so don't be afraid to ask me if I want to hang out!
I became Lt. Governor because I was inspired, as well as motivated, to make the huskeys a recognized division. I believe that we can be the best out there. Every member I have ever met has been very willing to serve and fundraise, but we just never had the chance to come together and show out stuff. This year will be different! At my first District Board training, they asked us to write down one goal we have as a leader, and as a division. Do you want to know my responses? I said: "I want to be able to inspire others to lead and be the best that they can be.", and "By the end of this term, I want to make sure that the D36 West Huskeys are recognized for their hard work, and the officers apply for their well deserved awards." I still plan on doing this. I will stick to my promises and help us achieve the GOLDEN recognition that we will work hard to deserve. I want to be your friend. I want to help make this year GOLDEN. I want you to be inspired because of the GOLDEN legacy I will lead this Huskey pack to.
Huskeys, I am always here to help you. I am your support. I am here for you! We are in for a wonderful year together. I hope you are ready!
Yours in Service and Friendship,
Aaron Gomez
